The CX-ST is designed to fit most popular stereotaxic frames and still retain functionality of the incisor bar and ear bars. Like the rest of the CX- series of rodent non-rebreathing systems, the CX-ST has been designed to work with an externally vented vacuum source or stand alone vacuum source with charcoal filter to ensure complete scavenging of anesthetic gases. The CX-ST is a "one size fits all" solution and can be used with either mice or rats so there is no need to change non-rebreathing systems when changing species or size of rodents.
